Vitamin C is one of the most vital elements in health and well-being.  At regular doses, Vitamin C acts as an anti-oxidant which reduces oxidative stress and boosts your immune system.

However, some practitioners choose to use IV Vitamin C in very high doses to treat a range of health issues - the most common being cancer.  When IV Vitamin C is administered in doses of 25g or higher - it’s role in your body changes.  High-dose Vitamin C (HDVC) now works as a pro-oxidant by generating hydrogen peroxide in the tissues.  It’s unique in that it only targets cancer cells and does not negatively impact your normal, healthy cells. Patients receiving this therapy typically better tolerate the side effects of conventional treatments.

It’s important to remember that HDVC is a protocol-driven medical service rather than a simple wellness treatment. In order to receive HDVC infusions at Hydria Wellness, the following criteria must be met:

• Your care must be overseen & monitored by a Physician, Naturopathic Doctor or Nurse Practitioner

• Your care provider must tell us the dose and frequency of treatments that align with your health goals

• A G6PD blood test must be done prior to starting infusions

• Patients need to discuss the potential risks and benefits of HDVC therapy with their care provider​​​​​​​
